Lazada Seller Community Gives Back In Vietnam
Lazada’s Hanoi seller community organized its first charity initiative in Vietnam last month to raise funds for underprivileged students in the country’s northwestern region. As part of the initiative, representatives from the seller community visited and delivered more than 260 packages to needy children and low-income families in the mountainous villages of Bát Xát district in Lao Cai province. The packages included schoolbags, warm clothes and other winter necessities to support low-income families and promote education among young children.
Lazada Co-Hosts Indonesia Digital Economy Conference

Launched at the heels of the G20 and B20 summits that were held in Indonesia, IDEC is one of Lazada’s latest efforts to discuss and collaborate with strategic stakeholders to overcome challenges and accelerate Indonesia’s digital economic transformation. The conference was attended by government representatives, digital industry experts as well as Lazada brands and sellers. Lazada Group Chief Business Officer James Chang emphasized the platform’s commitment to building Indonesia’s digital economy by empowering local micro, small and medium enterprises and also supporting the country’s talent and wider community. Through a series of presentations and panel discussions, the conference explored the role and future of eCommerce in developing Indonesia’s digital economy.
